2008 Kentucky State Foosball Championships Prove to Be a Huge Success

Independent Foosball Promotions (IFP) and Warrior Table Soccer will be presenting the $50,000 Kentucky State Foosball Championships, taking place at the Holiday Inn North at 1950 Newton Pike in Lexington, KY, all day long from July 30th until August 3rd.

This will be Warrior Table Soccer's first joint-venture with the IFP, run by Mary Moore. The tournament will feature the brand new Warrior Table Soccer Table, designed by its president, Brendan Flaherty. Noted for their vast improvements over other foosball tables, Warrior Tables will be making their first appearance ever at the tournament, which is in its 16th year under the IFP's direction. This tournament has been known to draw an international crowd, and this year shouldn't be any different.

Jackets, tables, and cash prizes will be given away to most participants and trophies will be awarded to first and second place finishers of the main events, with all participants receiving a free gift bag. The tournament will be played using ITSF rules and is open to foosers of all ages, from professionals to amateurs. Spectators are always welcome, as well, and on site child care will be available.
